Fundamentals Course

ASLMS will offer its Fundamentals of Lasers in Health Care course at the Hyatt Regency Irvine in Irvine, California on
October 18-19, 2008.  CME credits and CE contact hours will be available.

The course is designed for health care professionals currently or anticipating becoming involved in the use of lasers in health care.

The course content will include:

• The basics of biophysics and tissue interaction.
• Basic safety information for individuals operating or preparing to operate a laser or related        technology.
• Information about legal issues associated with the use of lasers and/or related technology.
• Review of laser and related technology use in selected clinical applications.
• Knowledge Based Exam will test participants on their comprehension of the information provided in the course.
