The ASLMS Best of Session Nursing/Allied Health Award was established in 1991 to recognize outstanding nursing and allied health contributions to ASLMS and the advancement of joint practice in laser medicine and surgery. The Celebration of ASLMS Women in Energy-Based Devices is an evening of networking and inspiration with a focus on women from all specialties involved in ASLMS, including scientists, clinicians, allied health professionals and women in the energy-based device industry. For 2020, the Celebration will take place on the evening of Thursday, April 30. The event includes time for networking with peers and luminaries.

The Leadership, Mentorship & Public Advocacy for Women in Medical Science Award honors an individual (male or female) who has significantly promoted the professional development of women in specialties using lasers and/or energy-based devices through teaching, mentoring, organizational leadership, or public advocacy. The Early Career Development Award will recognize an early career individual (10 years or less post-graduation) for highquality abstract study and who exemplifies the goals of the ASLMS Women in Energy-Based Devices Committee.

Attendees will be required to register for this intimate learning opportunity. Demonstrations will consist of 6 rotations (15 minutes each) of up to 8 conference attendees per rotation. ASLMS will promote this as part of the non-CME educational content for the 40th Annual Conference. An In-Kind Donation Agreement (for time and device usage) and learning objectives outline are required to participate. Companies must also provide the necessary supplies and peripherals for demonstration (i.e. goggles, smoke evacuator, innate demo materials such as eggplant, demo surfaces, topicals, etc.). Companies are limited to one device/room. If there is interest in purchasing additional space to demonstrate more devices, the company will be placed on a waiting list and contacted with availability on November 4, 2019.
