Continuing Medical Education Credit
The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc. designates this live activity for a maximum of (number of credits will be determined after the schedule is finalized) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Per ACCME, all accredited CME Providers need to be in compliance with documentation of all CME activities, including documentation of provider participation details. It is important for physicians to recognize their ethical responsibility to only claim CME credits commensurate with their actual participation in any CME activity. Accredited CME providers are expected to award AMA PRA Category 1 Credits based on the amount of credit claimed by the individual physician rather than awarding the maximum amount of credit designated for the activity. This is why CME providers ask physicians how many credits are being claimed before issuing certificates or transcripts. Physicians should claim credit immediately upon completion of the activity.
