Fundamentals of Lasers for Clinical Applications (pre-conference)

Through this comprehensive full-day course, participants will better understand the biophysics of lasers and energy-based devices and will be prepared to apply this understanding to patient care. Understand the principles of laser-tissue interactions and safe practices, learn about laser therapeutic and warning endpoints, choose the appropriate technology for the treatment of different medical conditions, and learn best practices using lasers.

Mini Introduction to Lasers Workshop

In this high-yield, condensed introduction course, participants will be provided with the building blocks of lasers and energy-based devices. Understand the interaction between tissue and lasers/devices that lead to inappropriate use and outcomes and learn how to select the appropriate laser or device in different clinical settings that include pigmented lesions, tattoos, vascular lesions, and skin rejuvenation.

Early Career Clinical Pearls

Listen to and participate in an energetic open questions and answers discussion. Inquiries to the session hosts may focus on devices, clinical approaches, and personal recommendations for practice.
