A statement of credit hours will be issued to you following the conference which you can forward to your specialty boards, specialty academies or to your State Medical Examining Boards to meet your continuing education requirements.

2024 Annual Conference Learning Objectives

At the end of the conference, learners should be able to:

  1. Outline the new basic science and clinical research in lasers and energy devices that may lead to novel therapeutic strategies.
  2. Select appropriate laser and energy device therapies for specific patient problems.
  3. Evaluate adverse events associated with clinical laser treatments.
  4. Cite 2-3 strategies for collaborating with patients to develop treatment plans that meet their physical and emotional needs.

2024 Annual Conference Disclosure Information

The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc. (ASLMS) adheres to the policies and guidelines, including the Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited CE, set forth to providers by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), stating those activities where continuing education credits are awarded must be balanced, independent, objective, and scientifically rigorous. All persons in a position to control the content of an accredited continuing education program provided by ASLMS are required to disclose all financial relationships with any ineligible company within the past 24 months.  All financial relationships reported are identified as relevant and mitigated by ASLMS in accordance with the Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited CE in advance of delivery of the activity to learners. The content of this activity was vetted by ASLMS to assure objectivity and that the activity is free of commercial bias.  All relevant financial relationships have been mitigated by the ASLMS.

The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc. designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

2024 ANNUAL CONFERENCE SESSIONS

To receive a Certificate of Credit or a Certificate of Participation for the 2024 Annual Conference, registered attendees must submit a completed electronic CME/CE evaluation no later than Wednesday, May 15, 2024 (1:00pm CT), using the link above. Registered attendees must also document hours of attendance for each applicable session. Hours are calculated to the nearest quarter hour (.25), not including breaks. All submitted CME/CE evaluations will first be reviewed by the ASLMS Central Office before certificates are distributed. Attendees will receive their certificates via email from ASLMS in June 2024.
