The ASLMS Annual Conference promises to be an outstanding learning and networking opportunity that will allow you to stay on top of all the latest research findings and most useful clinical pearls! The dramatic surge in research and development in the field will be presented in the form of abstracts, clinical application courses, controversy sessions, and cutting edge sessions. See how the latest ground-breaking research, techniques and tips can be employed in your discipline.


Courses, Workshops & Sessions

Specialty sessions, which deal in detail with specific areas of laser and other energy-based applications, comprise the other major part of the program. Attendees are free to attend the specialty breakout sessions and individual lectures of their choice, to develop individualized programs suiting their particular needs and interests. CME credits and CE contact hours are available. ASLMS is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Abstract Sessions

As the world’s preeminent gathering of professionals in the field of lasers and other energy-based technologies, the ASLMS Annual Conference is the ideal venue for clinicians, scientists, students, residents and early career scientists to present research to a global audience. Approximately 250 abstracts are selected for oral presentations each year. Abstracts are also published in Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, the internationally renowned journal of ASLMS.

Travel Grants

Travel grants are available for medical students, residents, undergraduate students, interns, and fellows-in-training doing patient oriented research and graduate students and post-doctoral fellows currently involved full-time in biomedical laser research with accompanying accepted abstract. ePosters

ePosters allow investigators the opportunity to communicate their data in a clear, concise digital format. Twenty ePoster viewing stations will be located in the Exhibit Hall. Viewers can submit a question to the author. CME credits are offered for viewing ePosters. Learn More
