International Resources

ASLMS members represent more than 60 countries and specialize in all aspects of laser medicine. Their knowledge of laser medicine in their home region, along with understanding how terminology is applied in their language, has been embraced to create resources so that students, providers, and faculty can clearly communicate.

The International Affairs Committee and Ambassadors worked together to foster collaborations with other international non-profit organizations and societies. Their efforts enabled the exchange of knowledge and expertise by developing joint international resources.

ASLMS is excited to announce two new resources for international members and providers.

"The Introductions to Lasers course is an important foundational resource for any clinician interested in using lasers in their practice. Translating this course, as well as a list of key terms used in laser surgery and medicine, broadens access to those seeking education from ASLMS whose first language may not be English. We aim to continue building upon these important resources, including more languages over time."
